This is why my kids use those plastic forks from IKEA. Seriously, don't let your kids run with forks.

If this happened to one of my kids I would lose my mind.

Dinner for a month

Redbook madras chickenRedbook madras chickenYesterday, I spent 1 1/2 hours in a prep kitchen preparing my family meals. I prepared six servings of the following dishes and this will feed my family until the first week in October! Using the prep kitchen and freezing my meals makes it easier for me to work my crazy hours and still come home and cook (which I love to do). This way we eat healthier and spend less money on take-out.
REDBOOK MADRAS CHICKEN CURRY
Developed for Dream Dinners by REDBOOK magazine's own food editor, this lively dish cooks up quickly and tastes fantastic! Chicken breasts are simmered with curry, garlic, ginger, onion, tomatoes, peas and carrots, then seasoned with cinnamon and cilantro. Serve over jasmine rice (provided). *Soy/gluten chicken alternative available

OVEN BAKED ALMOND CHICKEN
Treat your family to crispy, almond baked chicken. All ages love these lean chicken breasts, rolled in a golden crust of almonds and served with our sweet & sour dipping sauce. Signature Dinner

COCONUT SHRIMP
Golden brown skewers of shrimp coated with sweet coconut and bread crumbs bake in only 15 minutes, and will disappear from the table quicker than that! Serve with our dipping sauce made from diced red pepper, mild chili sauce, chili powder and sweet & sour sauce. Easy Entertaining

GARLIC & BALSAMIC MARINATED SIRLOIN ROAST
Full of flavor and ready to be grilled or oven broiled, our sirloin roast is marinated in balsamic vinegar with thyme, bay leaves, molasses and garlic. You’ll want to stock up on this great family-sized cut of beef, perfect for any occasion. Family Favorites

TUSCAN TURKEY MEDALLIONS
Dream Dinners has created this fabulous new recipe for our turkey medallions wrapped with bacon. Rubbed at home with a savory pesto of sundried tomatoes, rosemary and balsamic vinegar, they are healthy, moist and delicious. Easy Entertaining

CARIBBEAN PORK ROAST WITH HONEY-MUSTARD SAUCE
The sun drenched flavors of the Caribbean were our inspiration for this pork roast as we put the final touches to summer. Roasted with a Jamaican jerk spice blend, then finished with a glorious sauce of ginger, garlic, lime, Dijon mustard and honey. Kid-Friendly

QUICK & EASY BACK-TO-SCHOOL STEW
Perfect for an early autumn dinner, these tender pieces of 95% lean beef are braised in a rich, satisfying beef gravy in the crock pot. Serve with corn on the cob, and this traditional meal is sure to put a smile on your family’s face. Kid-Friendly

DREAM BBQ CHICKEN
These tender all white meat chicken breasts marinate in our special blend of lemon, soy and honey barbecue sauce. They'll grill in a matter of 20 minutes and please the whole family with their flavor. Serve with broccoli florets (provided). Kid-Friendly

PARMESAN CRUSTED TILAPIA WITH TOMATO-GARLIC AIOLI
We know your family is sure to enjoy this kid-friendly seafood dinner. Flaky white fish filets coated with a crisp Parmesan cheese crust, ready to bake to a golden brown and serve with our tomato-garlic aioli. Family Favorites

CHEESE LOVER'S MANICOTTI
Hearty cheese filled manicotti covered with seasoned marinara sauce and a blend of mozzarella and Parmesan. This dish is the height of simplicity, going straight from freezer to oven onto the dinner table, where it will be enjoyed by the pickiest eater. Kid-Friendly

HERB & GARLIC PORK CHOPS WITH MASHED POTATOES
